Happy Summer 2020! I wish to extend a warm welcome to you and to thank you for choosing San José City College. I understand that attending SJCC online is probably not how you planned to complete your summer studies, so I appreciate your patience and understanding.

With the COVID-19 public health crisis, economic turmoil, and a much-needed conversation over systemic racism and inequality, you enter a historic summer. There is much uncertainty, but speaking on behalf of our faculty, classified staff, and administrators, you can count on us to provide you with the best educational experience possible. If you feel we are falling short, please feel free to respond to this email.

In the meantime, I am including a valuable list of frequently asked questions, links to our loaner laptop program, and other virtual resources available to you this summer.
