Helpful Tips for Priority Registration

Greetings!

Congratulations, you are eligible to participate in priority registration for summer and fall 2020 term.

As a continuing student, it is important that you take full advantage of your priority by officially registering for classes at your designated date and time, or any time after that.

Please be aware that your priority registration date and time is NOT a literal in-person appointment with a counselor. Instead, it is a specific date and time that opens registration access to your MyWeb student account.

You should have already received via email your student identification number and unique priority registration date and time from SJCC Admissions and Records.

The official schedules of classes for summer and fall term 2020 can be found here.

  • Registration appointment:
To know when you can register, please log on to MyWeb (http://MyWeb.sjeccd.edu ) and click on the blue "Students" tab and under Registration, click on "Registration Priority and Profile."
    • This screen will display your registration date and time, along with profile information.
  • Priority Registration for Summer/Fall 2020 is by appointment.
    • You may register for classes starting on your registration appointment date and time and any time after using the following method:
      • Register online using MyWeb log on to http://MyWeb.sjeccd.edu which is available 24/7 unless otherwise noted
      • Be sure to clear any holds that you may have on your records before attempting to register for classes.
        • Unless the HOLD is removed, you will not be able to register.
  • Visit a counselor online
    • If you need to update educational plan/goals, or if you are on probation or dismissal, visit a counselor online. Contact your Counseling department for an online appointment:

So far, the summer session and fall semester will go on as planned; however, that could change based on any determination and decision made by the San Jose Evergreen Community College District as it relates to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the meantime, take some to look at the existing distance education courses offered in the summer and fall.

Thank you, and Go Jags!
