On behalf of the Financial Aid Office, we hope that you are all healthy and well during this time of uncertainty.  We in the Financial Aid Office will be doing what we can to support your needs to the best of our ability, as is everyone at SJCC.  Here are some updates from our office: Staff is working remotely with access to the Financial Aid Office email (sjccfa@sjcc.edu).  We do not have access to our phones, so email is the best way to connect with us for questions. Disbursements will be processed as scheduled.  Funds for the mid-semester disbursement were sent out on Friday, March 20 - this would be the second half of your Pell Grant for Spring 2020 if you have already received Pell Grant funds this semester.  Any funds that are not disbursed to this point will be paid based on our stated schedule unless otherwise noted.  Click here to view our disbursement schedule. If you are receiving Veteran's Benefits, the latest guidance from the VA is that there will be no changes to your benefits for the time being.  You should also be receiving messages directly from the VA with more information. Scholarship applications are open and available.  All scholarship applications and related materials may be submitted online - click here for that page.  Keep in mind that these scholarship funds are to be disbursed in Fall 2020.
